To engineer letters:
Fold the paper in half.
Diagram the letter on the folded paper.
Cut and fold to construct the letter.
To make the concertina:
Align the models edge to edge with no overlap.
Tape them together to create a sequence of valley and mountain folds that allow you to extend or compress flat the word.
Use markers to transform the letters with graphics or leave them as they are.
